ResponderEliminarDear Sir/Madam
I am writing to you on the library regulations. As a student of the university, I usually go to study in it and there are many points in the regulations I disagree with.
Firstly, in the Conduct within the library section we are told to keep silence in all study areas. People respect this rule except for mobile phones, which are ringing all the time and disturbing the whole room. I think it would be a good idea to make a specific regulation to remind people to disconnect them when entering.
Moreover, I would also like to point out that the specially designated areas for eating, drinking and smoking are situated just next to the study areas. All the noise, and even the smell of smoke, arrives from there to the “protected” area inside, which is quite annoying. In my opinion, they should be moved far away from those areas devoted to study.
I must also disagree with the insufficient number of PCs. There are only 55 for a library that is regularly used by more than one hundred people. By the way playing of games on them is forbidden and the same can be said of playing of personal stereos with headphones. But is this prohibition necessary if there are free pcs? Furthermore, I don’t understand why using mp3 players with headphones could upset anyone.
I very much hope you will understand my complaints. Until today I have repeatedly addressed them to the library staff members without any result.
Yours faithfully
Ariadna Roca
